Curated by UMO Artists Elizabeth Klob and Janet McAlpin, produced by Vashon Repertory Theatre as a part of Vashon Theatre Fest!.

We are calling for distilled performance gems for a series of new physical theatre, dance, and performance works. We are especially looking for physical theater, performance artists, street performance artists, veteran artists and newcomers alike.

If you had 5 minutes to share, what would you create?  What is the story you must tell, physically?

This series, focused on new voices and those who are typically not heard or seen will be stitched together with a collection of musical interludes and a master of ceremonies for the evening. 

Performances will run 2 weekends on Vashon Island during the Vashon Rep Summer Fest  July 22, 23, 24, July 28, 30, 31.  Artists can apply for just 1 weekend, including artist stipend and ferry fare. Artists will need to be available for 2 tech/dress rehearsals prior to the show; Tues and Wed of performing week.

Limited studio time for rehearsal can be arranged upon request.

Performance week tech time will run between 3pm and 9pm
