FAIL BETTER: BECKETT MOVES UMO
Part of the 2021 Vashon Theatre Fest
Created by UMO Ensemble
Directed by Elizabeth Klob
Samuel Beckett was one of the most pivotal playwrights of the twentieth century, mixing existential dread with offbeat humor. UMO Ensemble takes five Beckett character archetypes and has them tackle life, death, and the mundane with comedy, metaphor, stillness, and gross indecency. Fail Better: Beckett Moves UMO is an original production by Vashon’s own UMO Ensemble, featuring aerial ropes, a massive teeter-totter, and the imagined interior of Beckett’s mind.
Part of the 2021 Vashon Theatre Fest.
